Interaction: Carbamazepine: Antidiuretic effect potentiated

Servings: I.M. or S.C.: Diabetes insipidus: 5 to 20 units I.M. or S.C. injection. Repeat at every four hours. Post operative abdominal distention: 5units I.M. Repeat at every 3 to 4 hours. Increase to 10units if required. I.V.: Oesophageal variceal bleeding: 20units over 15minutes.
