Contraiindication: 

  • Hypersensitivity to the drug 
  • Hemorrhagic disorder
  • Thrombocytopenia 
  • Renal impairment 
  • Coagulation disorder 
  • Vaccination
  • Bone marrow depression 
  • Intramuscular and subcutaneous administrations are contraindicated.

Special Precaution: 

  • Leucopenia 
  • Ulceration 
  • Kidney disease 
  • Infection 
  • Chicken pox 
  • Herpes zoster 
  • Bleeding 
  • Decreased platelet count

Interaction: Vinca alkaloids: Acute shortness of breath and severe bronchospasm have occured following the use of vinca alkaloids in patients who had previously or concurrently received mitomycin.

Servings: Intravenous- Adult- 10 to 20mg/metre square as a single dose every 4 to 8 weeks 2mg/metre square/day for 5 days. This cycle is repeated for 6 to 8 weeks
