  • Nausea 
  • Vomiting 
  • Hypokalemia.

Contraiindication: 

  • Hypersensitivity to the drug
  • Glucagonoma 
  • Insulinoma 
  • Pheochromocytoma

Special Precaution: 

  • Monitor blood glucose levels till recovery 
  • In children; safety and efficacy for diagnostic purpose haven`t been established

Interaction: Oral anticoagulants : Efficacy of anticoagulants increased; bleeding possible. This occurs after several days of therapy and appears to be dose related. Adjust dose of oral anticoagulants accordingly.

Servings: Adults and children (weighing more than 20kg): I.M., I.V., and S.C.: 0.5 to 1mg .May repeats the dose after 15minutes if patient fails to respond. When patient responds give supplemental carbohydrates. Children (weighing below 20kg): 0.5mg. May repeats the dose after 15minutes if patient fails to respond. When patient responds give supplemental carbohydrates.
