DIPHENHYDRAMINE Benadryl,Nytol,Unison,Dimedrol 25 MG; 12.5 mg/ ml SG Capsule Symptomatic relief of Llergic conditions including Rhinitis and Chronic Urticaria;Angioedema,Conjunctivitis Headache Dry mouth Rash Thrombocytopenia Anaemia Anorexia Insomnia Confusion Dizziness Fatigue Nausea Abdominal pain Urine retention Thickening of bronchial secretions. Hypersensitivity to Diphenhydramine ;.Porphyria. Hypertension Asthma Hyperthyroidism Angle closure glaucoma Prostatic hyperplasia Urinary tract obstruction Use with caution while operating machine, driving vehicle or activities requiring mental alertness Incompatibility reported with amphotericin, cephalothine sodium, hydrocortisone, sodium succinate, some soluble barabiturates, some contrast media. Adult: 25 - 50 mg 3 - 4 times daily. Dosage should be individualised according to the needs and the response of the patient; Nonproductive cough: 100 mg / day in 4-6 times daily. Insomnia: 50 mg at bed time Children above 12 years: 25 - 50 mg 3 - 4 times daily.
