Interaction: Insulin: Increase in insulin requirement in diabetics due to insulin resistance. Warfarin: Potentiation of anti-coagulant effect. Oral contraceptives: Interfere with danazol action. Anti-epileptics: May require adjustment in their doses. Lab tests: Glucose Tolerance. Tests: Decreased glucose tolerance. Liver function Tests: Elevated values reported.

Servings: Oral: Mild endometriosis: Starts with 100 to 200mg 12th hourly up to 6months. Adjust the dosage based on patient`s response. Moderate to severe endometriosis: 400mg 12th hourly up to 6months. Fibrocystic breast disease, Gynaecomastia: 100 to 400mg/day as two divided doses for 2 to 6months. Menorrhagia: 200mg/day for 3 months. Hereditary angioedema: 200mg 12th hourly to 8th hourly until therapeutic effect is obtained. Then reduce the dosage to half at 1 to 3 month intervals.
