Contraiindication: Hypersensitivity to Adapalene

 Special Precaution: 

  • Eczema
  • Sun burn
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membrane ,lips, nose, wounds, abrasions, scaly skins
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet light
  • Use a sunscreen and protective clothing if sun exposure is unavoidable
  • Avoid preparations containing sulphur, Resorcinol, or salicylic acid
  • Avoid occlusive dressing

Interaction: Topical products with a potential for irritation (medicated or abrasive soaps, and cleansers, soaps and cosmetics that have a strong drying effect, and products with high concentrations of alcohol, astringents, spices, or lime), particularly preparations containing sulphur, resorcinol, or salicylic acid in combination with adapalene: Exercise caution with concomitant use of adapalene.

Servings: Adapalene 0.1% gel is used. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the medicament once daily (at night) for 3 months for acne and 1-4 weeks for psoriasis
